Attendance
•Regular attendance is expected at all scheduled lessons, groups, classes & performances.
•Late arrivals will be given the remainder of their lesson time.
•Students are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early in order to prepare their instrument and music, listen to the preceding lesson and get in an open frame of mind to learn.
•Parents are highly encouraged to schedule life around lessons in such a way as to arrive in a state of mind conducive to learning: not in a rush, having had a snack/drink and arrive in enough time to wash hands and/or use the bathroom, if necessary. This is to give the student the most efficient use of lesson time.

Missed/Canceled Lessons
•All lessons canceled due to teacher cancellation will be made up.
•Lessons canceled by the student will not be refunded, but the following conflicts will be offered make-ups: medical emergencies and concerts/competitions where the student is performing (if and only if notice is given at the beginning of the semester).
•Make-up lessons that are canceled by the student will not be rescheduled or refunded.
•In case of inclement weather or illnesses where a student is able to play, the lesson will be scheduled at their regular time over Skype or as a flipped lesson over Marco Polo.
•If a student comes to their lesson sick and/or running a fever, they will be sent home with no make-up. (Please be considerate to both teacher and other students and do not come to lessons unless more than 24 hours fever free without the aid of medications.)
•No make-up lessons will be offered if tuition payment becomes delinquent.

Illnesses

Fox Park Music Studio does not and will not ask for you to disclose any personal medical information other than any physical injuries which may need to be accommodated in the lesson in order to prevent exacerbating said physical injuries. Medical decisions are between the student/family and their health care provider. The only health requirement Fox Park Music Studio has is that students are asked to pay attention to their health and not to attend lessons when ill (including fever, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, vomiting or diarrhea) or for a minimum of 24 hours after fever and symptoms have subsided without the aid of medications. Do Not Show Up Any Lessons (or Groups or Performances) Sick! If a student shows up to a lesson sick, they will be sent home with no make-up lesson.
